FAQ's

Will we have to sell anything to participate in the USAgain clothes collection program?

Absolutely not!  Unlike many other fundraisers, you do not need to sell anything.

Does our school earn money for the clothes and shoes collected?

Yes!  Your school will earn cents on the pound collected.

Can our school participate in more than one national contest?

Yes!  This would be a great way to exceed your earning potential!

Who can be in charge of this program?

Anyone can chair this program.  Your school principal, your green team, your associated student body, your athletics team, your garden team or PTA.  All we need to know is who our main contact will be.  The earnings can be put towards many different needs.

Can we view the pounds collected at our school?

Yes!  You can register your location through our online partner portal to view your statistics.

Are there any minimums to meet?

We do not have a required minimum

Is this a simple fundraiser for my school?

Absolutely!  This is a simple fundraiser for your school.  As soon as your families notice your bin, they will automatically start using it and the best part of this too, is that you will provide this convenience to the surrounding families, they will support your school even if they don’t have a student attending.

How does collecting used clothes and shoes support Earth Day?

The apparel industry is one of the biggest polluters in the planet! According to NRDC, Textile mills generate one-fifth of the world's industrial water pollution and use 20,000 chemicals, many of them carcinogenic, to make clothes. Through our partner portal and monthly emails, you will learn just how much water you help save, carbon emissions you prevent, trees planted, etc.
